So what happened in 2011? Well there where some very interesting results which I will be sharing here over the coming weeks. I think its fair to say there where some losers and winners in our sample in 2011.
The biggest winner being Moscow:
17.13% up in Revenue Per Available Square Meter, Driven by a solid 6.37% increase in Occupancy over the year.
The Moscow hotels in our sample are some of the best in the business at yielding. The above increase was driven by the an increase in the RevPD from RUB 2777.50, up to a whopping RUB 3031, a chunky 9.15%.
